I saw this series of pictures on another blog right around the time the US soldier death toll reached 4000 in Iraq.
The first number is from Sept 11. The other numbers are (some of) the deaths that have occurred as a result of our 'war on terror'. I just thought it was sad that so much life had to be lost as payback for those first 3000 lives.
I wish we had blessed instead of cursed and loved instead of killed.
